Children's Ministry

Our loving and nurturing Nursery is staffed by highly skilled St. Matthew’s Child Development teachers (for ages 3 months to 2+).

"Word for the Children” in the Sanctuary on Sunday morning before the sermon and immediately afterwards the children are led out of the church to a classroom for our imaginative and interactive parallel worship during the sermon in the Sanctuary.  It is for children ages 4 to 8, the goal is to broaden their relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another.

OTHER CHILDREN'S OPPORTUNITIES ARE:-

Our Junior Choir (grades K through 5) meets on Sundays in rooms 104-105 at 5:00 p.m. lead by Susan Smith-Porterfield.

Our Children’s Ministry team hosts special events throughout the year offering a fun and relaxed way to meet and get to know families just like yours.
